Jiddu Krishnamurti was a religious thinker and writer, not associated with any religious organization or school of thought, whose teachings have been compiled in books and biographies. Jiddu himself wrote various books, amongst them were The first and last freedom and Freedom from the known. In 1984 he received the UN peace medal and he passed away in the year 1986.
